[문화재청](국영문 동시 배포) 국립해양문화재연구소·(사)이코모스 한국위원회 업무 협약

  문화재청 국립해양문화재연구소(소장 김연수)와 (사)이코모스(국제기념물유적협의회, ICOMOS) 한국위원회(위원장 송인호)는 4월 28일 오후 2시 국립해양문화재연구소 세미나실에서 학술교류 협약을 체결하였다.

  양 기관은 이번 협약을 통해 ▲ 국내외 학술대회 공동개최, ▲ 학술소위원회 활동을 통한 공동연구, ▲ 수중문화유산 국제학술위원회(ICUCH) 가입과 활동, ▲ 기관지 등의 상호 제공과 자료 공유, ▲ 기관 학술활동의 상호 홍보 등 관련 분야에서 상호 협력할 예정이다.

  국립해양문화재연구소는 체결된 협약의 구체적 실행을 위해 이코모스 국제본부와 이코모스 한국위원회에 단체회원으로 가입하고, 한국위원회와는 수중문화유산 학술소위원회를 구성하여 함께 활동할 계획이다.

  책임운영기관인 국립해양문화재연구소는 (사)이코모스 한국위원회와 함께 수중문화유산 전문가의 적극적인 활동 지원으로 해당 분야에서 국가 영향력을 확대하고, 국제적인 연구기관으로 한층 더 도약할 것이다.

Agreement between The National Research Institute of Maritime Cultural Heritage and International Council on Monuments and Sites-Korea
-Strengthening of Research Cooperation on Underwater Cultural Heritage-

The National Research Institute of Maritime Cultural Heritage (NRIMCH, Director Kim Yeonsoo) of the Cultural Heritage Administration of Korea and ICOMOS (International Council on Monuments and Sites) national committee of the Republic of Korea (Chairperson Song Inho) has made an agreement on an academic exchange at the NRIMCH, April 28th.

Through this agreement two institutes will cooperate in the relevant field by ▲ co-host international/national conference; ▲ joint research through scholar sub-committee; ▲ join and participate in the International Committee on Underwater Cultural Heritage(ICUCH); ▲ mutual exchange of the papers and sharing of the data; and ▲ mutual promotion on the academic activity of the institutes etc.

The NRIMCH will join ICOMOS international headquarter and ICOMOS-Korea committee as a group member for the concrete implementation of the agreement. The NRIMCH plans to organize an underwater cultural heritage scholar sub-committee to work with the team.

The NRIMCH, the executive agency together with ICOMOS-Korea committee will support underwater cultural heritage specialists to expand national influence in this field and make a leap forward to be an international research institute.
